'Save the Weave' was an initiative undertaken by the visionary leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and the team at Isha Foundation to patronise the ancient endangered weaves, prints and embroidery techniques of India. The key narratives for the publication were promoting handmade textiles, revitalizing traditional crafts, tracing the cities, towns and villages that play a key role in the Indian textile industry and lastly, raising awareness about the health as well as environmental impact caused by the fashion industry.

Each spread in the catalogue was treated in detail. The publication was designed on a flexible grid that allowed us to create minimal yet dramatic compositions with large imagery and blocks of text, ensuring that it acted as a balanced foundation for each Indian weave to shine through the pages.

This archival print catalogue was created in collaboration with Hirumchi Styling Company and produced by L’affaire Designs, New Delhi.
